For the first time since early September of 2000, the San Francisco Giants completed a three game sweep of the Phillies at AT&T Park. In last nights game, the hero of the night was Andrew Susac, who hit a three run homer in the fourth inning. For Susac, who has been a slump as of late, it was a return to form. His three RBI’s matched a personal best

The Los Angeles Dodgers bounced back from their 7-2 loss Tuesday night and blanked the Phillies 0-5 on the arm of Clayton Kershaw.
“He’s the best pitcher on the planet,” Catcher J. Ellis said.
Ellis played his part in the victory getting three hits and a second inning home run, which accounted for the teams first two scores.
SP Adam Morgan had trouble replicating his performance against the Braves last week and was pulled at the end of the fourth inning.
“We were careful with him,” Phillies interim manager Pete Mackanin said. “He’s allowed to not be sharp once in a while, especially when you’re a rookie. I think he’s better than he pitched today. I think he’s more like the last two starts than he was today.”
